Prefer to skip the booze but don’t want to feel left out of the party? Or perhaps you’re a considerate host who wants to provide non-alcoholic options to your guests. Thankfully there are plenty of festive recipes to keep everyone in good spirits.

Here’s a small collection of our favourites: 


This mocktail is ideal when you want something indulgent and creamy. The delightful creamy head of foam makes this particularly festive and fun.

Instructions: Combine 5oz vanilla syrup, 5oz passion-fruit puree, 1oz grapefruit juice and 1oz cream together in a cocktail shaker over ice. Pour 2oz sparkling water into a highball glass then carefully add the cocktail shaker ingredients.


We dare you not to get into the Christmas spirit whilst sipping this zingy fruity mocktail.

Instructions: Mix together 2oz cranberry juice with 10 cranberries and an orange wedge. Add 1.5oz sparkling water, 4 dashes Peychaud’s Bitters and 2.5oz apple cider. Garnish with more cranberries, orange peel and serve with ice.


If you thought there’s no taste more comforting than cinnamon, try it fused with blackberries. Delicious!

Instructions: First make the cinnamon syrup: boil up 1 tsp Saigon cinnamon with 1 cup water and 1 cup  sugar. Simmer and stir until mixture thickens to syrup consistency. Cool.  In a cocktail shaker mix up 2 blackberries, 1.5oz orange juice, 1oz lemon juice and 1oz Saigon cinnamon syrup. Strain into a glass and top with sparkling water.


Simple, sweet, soothing – the ideal alternative to mulled wine and perfect for taking your mind off work and towards relaxation.

Instructions: Pour into a pan 1 ltr apple juice with some strips of orange and lemon peel, 1 cinnamon stick and 2 cloves. Simmer for 10 mins until the flavours mingle. Serve with a little orange and lemon peel and a piece of cinnamon stick.


For the Christmas grinches – if you’re fed up with all things festive and want a reminder of summer give this citrusy cocktail a try.

Instructions: First make the honey syrup – mix together three parts honey to one part boiling water. Pour 10ml honey syrup into a cocktail shaker. Then add 8 mint leaves, 15ml lime juice, 5ml grenadine and 100ml pink grapefruit juice. Strain into a highball glass with crushed ice and garnish with mint and a grapefruit slice.
